premise
we're not offering anything different than any of the other communities out there except a chance at a new start! many of us have been around for years, and we're all used to how things operate on insanejournal. with the state of the world right now, we're determined to bring you a relaxed, stress-free break from reality so that you can enjoy something that started out as a hobby for so many of us. we ask that you follow the following rules, as well as show common courtesy to our other members.
applying

• please have a username that contains your characters name without numbers, underscores, or excessive missing letters. if you need help with this you can ask a mod or visit rename for a list of purged usernames, or tradingspaces to see if anyone has one they're not using.

• you must make a backdated friends-only post in addition to a screened contact post - please make sure they're backdated!

• when asking for examples, we require one update (traditional or narrative) and one thread.

• if your application was deleted it means that the mods have decided you are not a right fit for our community. we will contact you if there's something easily fixable, such as we can't see your examples. we will not be replying to comments or pms regarding applications.

activity
intros & friends page

• new members have 72 hours to make a post in task and answer the majority of comments within a reasonable time frame.

• friends page activity will be monitored loosely, but if we feel you are not interacting with other members in a capacity outside of your own journal, you may eligible for removal.

monthly

• we require members to make one post a month that shows effort and creativity. we are not assigning a word limit to these, which means you can post moodboards, instagram posts, narratives, play lists, interactive prompts, etc. but must show effort.

• abandoned posts will not count towards monthly activity. this means that if you make a post and don't reply to comments in a timely manner, you could be removed and/or overridden.

general

• your friends list should not be more than 2+ weeks out of date. we will check this periodically without warning!

• we do not allow anon-enabled posts from members. anything anon-enabled will be run by the mods and we encourage all members to keep their posts locked and anon-disabled.

• above all, we encourage you to have fun and be engaging. these are a lot of rules but they help us to foster an active and friendly environment. please, enjoy our community, help it grow and thrive!

hiatuses/extentions

• hiatus requests will last for two weeks unless otherwise asked. if you are on hiatus, you may not show any activity in rps or the sub-communities.

• extensions will be granted as an additional 5 days. since our update requirements are pretty lax, we hope that this won't be needed too much.

• any issues or extended leaves of absences should be brought to the mods attention to keep yourself from being removed.

we want to bring you a fun, laid back community with no additional stress. we do not tolerating blurring in any capacity, nor do we allow posts or content that is intentionally disruptive, offensive, or contains any race/political/religious baiting. if you have any concerns or questions, ask! if you witness any bullying or harassment, contact us immediately so we can address the issue asap.
